Jelly Roll was put in a tough spot. This happened during his performance at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. It was his wife of seven years, Bunnie Xo, who put the country music star in that tough spot. However, Bunnie Xo made, what she believed to be, a critical error that could get him banned from the Houston Rodeo.

Bunnie Xo Dropped An F-Bomb With Jelly Roll

During the performance of Jelly Roll, the “I Need A Favor” singer pulled his wife on stage. According to Bunnie Xo, the two have a “script” she sticks to when she is on stage with her husband. Before starting his performance, Jelly Roll asked Bunnie Xo if she was going to go on stage with him. However, she explained she was feeling “weird and awkward” about it so she told him no.

“I’m not good with a microphone or with crowds and I stick to a script that we have done for the past frickin’ decade,” Bunnie Xo explained on her TikTok. “Unbeknownst to me, my husband walks over in the middle of one of the songs and pulls me up onstage. And what do I do when he hands me the microphone?”

“Houston, what the f— is up?” Bunnie Xo asked the crowd.

Bunnie Xo Remembered The Rule

The look of what Xo called “despair” was all over Jelly Roll’s face.

“Ya girl messed up,” Bunnie X said in the TikTok video. “Apparently, at the Houston Rodeo, you’re not supposed to cuss. You’re not supposed to say one bad word on stage, and if you do, they’ll turn the lights off, kick you out and never let you come back again. Nobody told me this.”

In Result, Bunnie Xo was certain she had gotten Jelly Roll permanently banned from the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo! With one slip of the tongue, one little F-bomb, and her husband would never be allowed to perform there again.

The Houston Rodeo Speaks Out

Bunnie Xo was worried, probably even scared, that she had ruined her husband’s ability to be a part of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. This could have a huge impact on his career. This is a county fair. This is THE Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

“I can say that they are NOT banned and we would absolutely love to have both of them back,” a representative for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo explained. “We are a family friendly show, but there isn’t a rule in place that bans anyone for cursing,”

However, Bunnie Xo’s worries were completely unfounded. Jelly Roll is not banned from the Houston Rodeo. It appears he can come back whenever he would like.

Tell us what you think. Why do you think Bunnie Xo thought there was a rule about cursing at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo? However, if there had been such a rule, should Jelly Roll have been banned or just his wife? What would you have thought if he had been banned? Sound off in the comment section below.
