This proof is the fact that the “Son Of A Sinner” singer is on the cover of GQ magazine. It is part of their Change Is Good initiative.

GQ has a segment in their magazine that spotlights people who have made positive changes in their lives. People from around the world are showcased in this segment of their magazine. This week, the GQ spotlight is shining on Jelly Roll.

When it comes to making positive changes in their lives, Jelly Roll is one person who definitely stands out. The transformation this country music superstar has gone through is undoubtedly remarkable.

Jelly Roll And His Misspent Youth

Jelly Roll spent much of his time in and out of correctional facilities when he was younger. Whether he was looking for trouble or trouble just found him, the “I Need A Favor” singer was almost always in some sort of trouble.

There appeared to be no end in sight for him when it came to trouble. Then, all that changed. Jelly Roll made the choice to do something else with his life. Instead of waiting for his life to change directions, he made the decision to change the direction of his life.

Jelly Roll And Country Music

The “Tears Could Talk” singer got his start in the music industry as a rapper. He then decided to go another direction with his God-given talent. That was when he found his way to country music.

Jelly Roll has been good for country music and country music has been good to him. In his short country music career, he has already won the Country Music Association New Artist of the Year award. He was also nominated for a Grammy. All of that was just in this past years.

The Fans

Of course, there are Jelly Roll’s fans. Country music fans, in general, are known to be some of the most loyal fans of all. This is definitely true when it comes to the “Save Me” singer. Often seen by outsides as not the most inclusive of people, country music fans have embraced him.

His fans have never let his past or his look get in their way of loving him. Just like with GQ, his fans understand the undeniable positive changes he has made in his life. Not only do the fans love his music, they love Jelly Roll because of who he is and what he stands for.
