Is country superstar, Carrie Underwood open to more babies with her husband, Mike Fisher? They are already parents to two sons but are they done expanding their family or is the window still open? Keep reading for more details on their future plans.

Carrie Underwood Open To More Babies?

Life has been a whirlwind since Carrie Underwood won Season 4 of American Idol in 2005. Her career took off and she has not stopped since. Not only was she singing her heart out but she was doing promotions and even tried her hand at acting. Then, she met professional hockey player, Mike Fisher, and fell in love with him. The two ended up tying the knot nearly two years after they met in a 2010 ceremony. Carrie’s career was booming so their first child, Isaiah was not born until 2015. They then welcomed their second son, Jacob in 2019 but the road to motherhood was less than easy.

Carrie has been very open about the fact that she suffered three miscarriages between her two sons. Per ABC News, she and Mike noted that they really wanted to give Isaiah a sibling and it happened rather quickly. Sadly, she would face more loss until Jacob was born in 2019 and that was something she and Mike had prayed for deeply. Since then, Carrie has been busy with music and her fitness clothing line. Yet, does she have an itch to bring another baby into the world? According to Life & Style, the 41-year-old may have too much on her plate for that right now or maybe ever again.

An insider shared that Mike Fisher does want another baby and is actually in favor of getting a surrogate for child number three. However, Carrie is at the point where she is done with that phase of her life. Per the insider:

“She wants to focus on what they have instead of what could be.”

Big Things Ahead

Carrie Underwood is prepping for her tour plus she has her two sons and their lavish farm so a baby is not her priority. Yes, she would have loved to have a girl, but the IVF process is less than desirable so she is bowing out. Plus, she is very happy where she is at and for what she and her family have:

“She doesn’t want to put all her energy and time into making it happen. She just wants to appreciate what they have. There’s so much to be thankful for.”

Admittedly, it has come up that Mike allegedly would like Carrie home in a more traditional wifely and motherly sense. However, this is who she is and what she loves so she is not going to change for anyone.

Do you think that Carrie is fair for not wanting to go through the baby process again after all the struggles they faced previously? Should they just enjoy their life as it is? Let us know in the comments below.
