Morgan Wallen has gone more than just radio silent on social media. It appears he deactivated his account. Fans are concerned, but could there be a reasonable explanation?
Recent Arrest Not Affecting Career
Morgan Wallen found himself in the center of a media storm in 2021 after a video surfaced of him using the ‘n-word.’ He was at the height of his fame at the time and spent years clawing his way back to the top.
But just as he reached his former status, he got in trouble again. He was arrested earlier this year for allegedly tossing a chair off the roof of a bar in downtown Nashville. He’s expected back in court in August to face charges of reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.
The trouble with the law didn’t stop his One Night at a Time tour, which continues through September. He also just released a collaboration with Post Malone. “I Had Some Help” flew to the top of the charts and is expected to be on Post Malone’s upcoming country album out this summer.
Morgan Wallen Mysteriously Disappears From Social Media
Morgan Wallen fans noticed a few days ago that his Instagram account was wiped clean. It now says the page is “unavailable” and directs users back to Instagram.
Fans speculated that the singer’s page might have been hacked or otherwise compromised. Another fan suggested on Reddit that the “Thought You Should Know” singer may have deleted his social media amid all his legal troubles.
But a new theory took over once fans noticed that Morgan Wallen’s regular collaborator, Ernest, also appeared to deactivate his social media.
Speculation grew that the two are about to announce a new project together, possibly another Morgan Wallen album.

- Maybe he just needed to take some time for himself. Too many people demanding his time and having too many expectations of him, he’s been through a lot.
