Billy Ray Cyrus has gone off on his estranged wife, Firerose, in a social media tirade. He has filed for annulment, claiming fraud on her behalf. Yet, if that does not work, he is fine with a divorce. So, what is he saying about his wife of just seven months now? Keep reading for more details.
Billy Ray Cyrus Goes On Tirade Against Estranged Wife
After being married to Tish Cyrus for three decades, Billy Ray Cyrus seemed thrilled to be with Firerose. The young Australian singer appeared to revitalize his life and his soul. Though they had initially met over a decade prior on the Disney lot, nothing came of it. Then, Tish filed for divorce for the third time in April 2022, and that left an opening for Billy Ray and Firerose to explore a romantic relationship. The year prior, the two did a duet together and it was clear there was chemistry. By the end of 2022, the two were engaged and they tied the knot a year later.
Unfortunately, that came crashing down and he claimed she had been unfaithful. Plus, Billy Ray said she ran up his credit cards without asking and accused her of fraud. Firerose countered with her own list of accusations of Billy Ray being abusive and treating her like a prisoner in her own home. There was so much venom spewed between the two that it was hard to know who was telling the truth. Now, Billy Ray has taken to his social media to go on a tirade against Firerose.
Billy Ray claims he had no idea who Firerose was or her true last name. She went by “Hodges” but was born Johanna Rosie Scholem, per the Daily Mail. More so, she was raised by a former violinist mother and a retired general practitioner father. She is sober now and has thanked God immensely for that but was raised in a Jewish home. Firerose was arrested in 2016 after meeting a woman who took her to what was supposedly her home. It was not and she was put behind bars for 60 days. This saved her life.
A Previous Marriage
Billy Ray Cyrus also claims that Firerose was married to David Hodges hence the last name she used. Essentially, he is saying everything he thought to be true was a lie. However, when did she get married? That would answer if he knew her legal name or not. There’s so much to unpack in all of this and it seems both sides feel they have proof to show they are in the right. As for whom is telling the truth, that will be up to a judge.
