There are only a handful of dates left on the Morgan Wallen 2024 One Night At A Time Tour. He brought out the big guns during a concert in his hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee, over the weekend. Keep reading for all the details.
Morgan Wallen Returns To Knoxville
Morgan Wallen is facing possible jail time after his felony arrest in April. But first he has a tour to finish. He successfully petitioned the court to push back his sentencing from August until December after his latest tour wraps up.
The tour took him to the Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee. The country singer was born in Sneedville, Tennessee, which has a population just over 1,000 people. Morgan Wallen calls the bigger city his hometown. He moved to Nashville to pursue a career in music in 2015 after failing to secure a spot on The Voice the previous year.
Despite the rejection, Morgan Wallen became one of the most successful country stars in the last few years. He was more than happy to return home, though. “This is one of the most special days of my entire life and I’m very glad you guys chose to spend this weekend here with me – it means a lot,” he told the sold-0ut crowd.
He added, “I have been very fortunate to do a lot of great things over the last few years, but I know that this right here is going to be extremely hard to top as one of the coolest things I’ve ever gotten to do.”
Surprise Guests
Some of Morgan Wallen’s family was in the crowd, including his parents and his son. He shares Indigo, 4, with ex-girlfriend KT Smith. The “Whiskey Glasses” singer had some serious surprises in store for his fans.
According to the local radio station, he walked into the stadium accompanied by the 2024 National Champion Tennessee Volunteers baseball team and coach Tony Vitello. One fan shared a clip of the special moment on Twitter.

But that wasn’t the end of the surprises. Post Malone was heavily rumored to be a surprise guest at the concert. But Morgan Wallen had someone else in mind. He brought Eric Church on stage for an acoustic rendition of “Quittin’ Time.”

Frequent collaborators Hardy and Ernest also made appearances at the Knoxville show and are expected to join Morgan Wallen on the second night of the sold-out show on Sunday, September 22.
