Ella Langley had one of the biggest hits in 2024. She’s still reaping the benefits with multiple ACM awards. Despite her massive success, the up-and-coming country star revealed a battle with imposter syndrome. Keep reading for more on how she overcomes her mental health struggles.
Newcomer Ella Langley Dominates 2025 ACM Awards
Ella Langley isn’t a household name like many of today’s country music stars like Morgan Wallen and Zach Bryan. However, if she stays on track, she will be very soon. She had the most nominations at this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards. Ella Langley dominated the ceremony, nabbing multiple awards and performing twice.
She earned eight nominations in total, including New Female Artist of the Year, which she won. Six of her nominations were from her stunning duet with Riley Green. Their chemistry was so good on “You Look Like You Love Me” that fans were convinced they were dating.

They shut down romance rumors several times but continue to work together on writing and recording some of the biggest hits out of Nashville.
The duet, which reached number one on the Billboard‘s Country Airplay charts, won for Visual Media of the Year, Single of the Year, and Music Event of the Year.
During one acceptance speech, Ella Langley said that the record label expected the song to be a dud. “This song taught me to not care so much and write what you love, write what feels good,” the singer said about “You Look Like You Love Me.”
In addition to her win streak, Ella Langley took the stage twice to perform. She joined Miranda Lambert in a rousing rendition of Lambert’s hit song “Kerosene,” which just turned 20. Langley also took the stage for a solo performance of “Weren’t for the Wind,” the first single from a deluxe reissue of her debut studio album, Hungover.
She Reveals Battle With Imposter Syndrome
Despite her huge success at just 26, Ella Langley struggles with imposter syndrome. According to WebMD, imposter syndrome is the constant feeling of self-doubt no matter how successful you are.
She spoke to Taste of Country Nights about feeling like a fraud. “That day is the brightest of my career, but it’s also the darkest,” she described last month’s ACM Awards.
Despite winning several awards, she said she was battling mental health issues leading up to the ceremony.
How She Copes With Mental Health Issues
While fame is coming fast and furious for Ella Langley, she has a tried-and-true method of coping. She shared the mantra she repeats to help her through the dark times: “God has chose you.”
She added, “I have gotten so close with him in these past few months.”
The singer said on a recent podcast that she’s excited to see what her future holds. And she’s not worried about it. “I’m really just letting God take the wheel, honestly,” she said about letting go and letting her faith take over.
The up-and-coming singer has a non-stop tour schedule this summer. She’s touring solo, as well as with Riley Green for some dates. She’s also an opener for a number of Morgan Wallen tour stops. Click here to find out if she’s coming to a town near you.
