Recently (May 28) Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood co-host The Ellen Show. From the looks of it, Garth is a regular on the show. Country Music Alley previously reports on some insider marriage information on his appearance on the show prior to this one. At the time of this appearance, Garth makes it seem like it’s a mixed blessing that Trisha had COVID-19. It gave the couple quality time together. Garth notes that they had “hard conversations about their relationship.” His queen adds to the conversation. “If you can talk about the hard stuff, it’s good. And we’re in this for the long haul,” says Trisha.
For their May 28th appearance on The Ellen Show, Music Mayhem Magazine jokes that the duet they perform “should be dubbed ‘Wife Is Always Right.’ Apparently, the “wife is always right” is the big secret to a happy marriage. Comically, the lyrics have the couple going back and forth about the annoying things the other one does. For example, Trisha explains in her verse that Garth whistles. In good fun, Garth rebutts with the song is missing something… a solo. So, he breaks out in a whistling solo. It is admirable that Garth and Trisha both have such a great sense of humor. If anything, this makes the country music mega-star couple seem relatable.
