Tim McGraw Honors Enduring Love On Anniversary
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill were both early in their music careers when they first met. Decades later, their professional lives are just as entwined as their personal lives.
They both hit the country music scene in the early 1990s. A chance encounter changed the course of both of their lives. McGraw fell for the songstress ‘in an instant’ and that was it for him.
The two began their longtime collaboration with a joint tour in 1996. They began dating during their Spontaneous Combustion Tour and rushed to the altar that same year.
They were married on Oct. 6, 1996 in a surprise ceremony in his aunt’s backyard in Rayville, Louisiana, Taste of Country recounts.
The couple welcomed their first daughter, Gracie, seven months later. They would go on to welcome two more daughters into the family, Audrey and Maggie.
The “Don’t Take The Girl” singer took to social media to honor Faith Hill on their 27th wedding anniversary. “Today is our 27th wedding anniversary and I fall for you everyday, every time you walk into the room, every time I see you in our 3 beautiful daughter’s smiles,” he wrote in the heartfelt tribute.
“I just keep falling and always will. Happy anniversary my love!”
Tim McGraw Takes Fans Back To The Beginning With Faith Hill
As two of the biggest names in country music, fans have watched the couple navigate their marriage and careers. They’ve collaborated on many duets, albums and tours in the last 20+ years.
However, it’s rare to see photos of early in their romance. In honor of their 27 years of marriage, Tim McGraw shared the very first photo they took together when they first met.
“This was backstage of the “New Faces” show at the Country Radio Seminar……I fell for you in an instant,” McGraw wrote of the 1994 flashback photo. They weren’t yet dating, but the meeting definitely changed both of their lives.
