Clay Walker has been fighting through his Multiple sclerosis (MS) since he was diagnosed in 1996. It has been a struggle to feel okay and some days are harder than others. He was feeling okay until 2025 and that was when things were off for the 56-year-old. Clay then had to cancel a performance and undergo a procedure which would help improve his life. He had a baclofen pump implanted which helps to relax his muscles. At the time, he shared this of the implantation:

The surgery gave me a lot of hope. But so far, you know, it’s not great. It hasn’t done what I wanted it to. Balance has been an issue lately.

Regardless of what the country star is going through, he is still in active tour mode. Per his social media, Clay is booked and busy for 2026. It started in January in Tulsa, Oklahoma and will wrap up in August in Iowa. He will make nearly thirty stops on the “Doin’ What I Love Tour,” and it looks like it’s going to be a hit.
