Kelly Clarkson has a surprise in store for fans. The singer is rumored to have many projects up her sleeve. As Country Music Alley previously reported, rumors swirled that Kelly was releasing a new Christmas album. It’s expected to be more somber in style compared to her previous effort, Wrapped In Red. While it’s not the breakup album that fans are looking for, fans can’t wait to hear more music from their favorite singer.
Fans have been thirsting for more new music from the star. Kelly is in the midst of her ongoing divorce battle with estranged husband Brandon Blackstock. Their divorce proceedings have been so messy that it’s made headlines on an almost daily basis. Now, Kelly is focusing on the positive things happening in her life.
Announces her new Christmas album
The rumors are true! Kelly Clarkson is coming out with another Christmas album. On Wednesday, September 15, the singer-songwriter took to Instagram to make the announcement. She posted a photo of her album entitled Christmas Isn’t Cancelled (Just You), which appears to be a dig at her ex. Kelly stands confidently in a sparkly silver gown and matching cape.

Within two hours, her post amassed over 34,000 likes. Fans flocked to the post to share their thoughts. Most of them are excited to get more Christmas music.

Joey Skladany wrote, “THE GIFT WE ALL NEEDED TBH,” while Lesli Margherita added, “This is the best title I’ve ever heard lol.” Fans are loving the title of the song and can’t wait to see what Kelly has up her sleeve. They love the level of pettiness this album era is already serving. Although it’s a Christmas album, it’s likely that Kelly will sing her heart out about her divorce.
Kelly Clarkson really loves Christmas
As fans know, Christmas is the American Idol alum’s favorite holiday. Shortly after making the announcement, Kelly Clarkson returned to Instagram to explain why she wanted to come out with another Christmas album. She admitted that she’s “obsessed” with Christmas and wanted to release even more festive music with a twist. Kelly also revealed when fans can expect her new single.
