Jason Aldean’s latest song “Try That In A Small Town” was performed at his bar last night and fans loved it. Jason is the owner of Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar in Nashville. He wasn’t in Nashville last night, but that didn’t keep them from finding a way to have this song sung. It just wasn’t Jason that performed it.
Controversy About Jason Aldean’s New Song
Jason Aldean’s song “Try That In A Small Town” came out a while ago, but the music video was just released this week. A lot of people have been upset by it and CMT even pulled the video. Jason was accused of making a “pro-lynching” video, but he says that isn’t the case at all. Instead, Jason says that it is just a song about the way that people take care of each other in a small town. Here is the explanation that Jason put out on his Instagram Story.
Performance of “Try That In A Small Town”
Last night at Aldean’s Bar in Nashville, Jamie Baxter performed his “Try That In A Small Town,” which is Jason’s latest song. TMZ shared a video and the details of the performance. You can check out the performance below.
They actually performed the song a few times. They sang it twice within 45 minutes and it sounds like it went over well with the crowd. Jason Aldean is also still performing it at his concerts.
Patrons Outside Jason’s Bar Talk About Song
Fox News got the chance to talk to patrons outside of Jason Aldean’s bar and find out what they thought of the song “Try That In A Small Town.” Carmen said, “I think it’s a bunch of sissies making a big deal out of, you know — it’s free speech, first of all. Don’t think it’s a racial thing at all. I think that’s the way he feels about our country.” Darren said, “Everybody has different opinions. Everybody’s different. It’s a big country. I say artistic freedom.”
There are a lot of mixed feelings coming out about this song and video, but for now, it seems like it is going to stick around. You can’t see the music video on CMT anymore, but the song is still being performed all over.
