Jelly Roll is in the mood to give back and now he is showing love to his old stomping grounds. The thirty-eight-year-old never seems to forget where he came from. Jelly Roll Shows Love To Old Stomping Grounds
Though he went through a lot growing up, Jelly Roll is the first to admit that he was no saint. By the same token, all of that reckless trouble has made him even more grateful for where he is now. He has shared that he still has people who have issues with him but he understands that he did many dirty in his past. More so, he can not ever erase that hurt. However, JR has completely turned his life around from inmate to superstar and it seems he does not take that for granted at all. This is clear based on his latest kind gesture.
According to Whiskey Riff, Jelly Roll recently returned to the prison that he was in to put on a show but he did not come alone. He brought with him Brantley Gilbert and Waylon Jennings’ stepgrandson, Struggle. Aptly, he performed “Folsom Prison Blues” made famous by the late Johnny Cash. Not only did he give them an amazing performance but he never forgot the juvenile detention center that he was in when he was a youngster.

Therefore, he donated all of the proceeds from his 2022 Bridgestone Arena show to the center. He is nothing like the person he once was and he wants people to see this. So far, fans are realizing that Jelly Roll is a changed man who has found the love of his life in Bunnie. They have a fun and amazing marriage. Though from the outside, it does not make sense to everyone else, it makes sense to them. Plus, she is there for him to do great things.
A Last Wish
Recently, a recovering addict turned her life around only to find out she had cancer with five months to live. Her dying wish was to meet Jelly Roll so he made it happen. Along with Bunnie by his side, they headed to a church where they dined together and he performed a private show. This further proves that nothing gets in the way of him giving back, no matter the circumstances. It also shows why people love and adore him so much.
