Is Miranda Lambert richer than her ex-husband, Blake Shelton? Find out where their finances stand in 2023, eight years after their divorce.

The Way They Were: Miranda Lambert & Blake Shelton’s Brief Romance

At one point in time, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton were the sweethearts of country music. The two first met in 2005 at CMT’s 100 Greatest Duets Concert. According to Us Weekly, Shelton was still married to his high-school sweetheart, Kaynette Williams (née Kern) at the time. However, they divorced shortly after the “God’s Country” singer met Lambert.

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton went public with their romance in 2006. They got married in 2010, but their marriage didn’t last. In 2015, they announced their split on the same day the divorce was finalized.

Blake Shelton went on to release the album If I’m Honest, which he called his “divorce record” during an interview with Billboard.

For her part, Lambert told the outlet in a separate interview that her album The Weight of These Wings was her side of the story.

Rumors swirled at the time that infidelity on both sides was the reason behind the split, but neither Blake Shelton or Miranda Lambert has confirmed cheating played a role in their break-up.

Where They Stand Today

It’s been almost ten years since Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert’s tumultuous split. They were reportedly feuding for several years following their breakup. Following a 2018 report linking her to Turnpike Troubadours frontman Evan Felker, her ex allegedly tweeted about “karma,” per Yahoo.

However, they’ve both moved on in the years since their romance. Miranda Lambert married Brendan McLoughlin, a former NYPD police officer, in 2019.

Blake Shelton met his future third wife on the set of NBC’s The Voice in 2014, one year before his marriage to Miranda Lambert ended. No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani replaced Christina Aguilera as judge during Season 7 of the singing competition.

She was still married to Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale at the time, but they split in 2015 after thirteen years of marriage. The timing of both divorces may seem sketchy, but Blake and Gwen maintain they were just friends until bonding over their respective divorces.

Is Miranda Lambert Richer Than Her Ex?

With his stint on The Voice, Blake Shelton arguably has the most exposure, but does he have more money than his ex-wife?

In 2021, TV Shows Ace revealed that Shelton earned $13 million per year on The Voice. But now that he’s left his cushy job, has his net worth declined?

Parade estimated his net worth at $120 million in January 2023. That’s an increase of $20 million since the 2021 report.

The outlet also notes that the “Ol’ Red” singer has deals with brands such as Pepsi, Pizza Hut, and Walmart. There’s also his restaurant chain Ole Red, which has expanded beyond Nashville into other cities across the country.

The Parade article further shares that Gwen Stefani’s estimated net worth is $160 million. What about his former wife, Miranda Lambert?

The “Gunpowder & Lead” singer is worth an estimated $60 million, per OK! magazine. A recent article detailed how the country crooner is a penny pincher, despite her wealth.

“She eats at chain restaurants, takes any freebie she can get and goes on all-inclusive vacations,” a source spilled to the outlet.
