It’s been a crazy month for country star Zach Bryan. After his groundbreaking career milestone and his untimely arrest, Zach Bryan welcomes a new family member. Keep reading for all the details.
New Music Coming Soon From Zach Bryan?
Zach Bryan just released his fourth studio album in August. The self-titled album quickly shot to No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 200. That same week, “I Remember Everything,” a track from the album featuring Kacey Musgraves, took the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100. The duet knocked Oliver Anthony out of the top spot. It’s rare for a song and album from the same artist to take No. 1 on both charts at the same time.
However, the good news quickly soured with news of the singer’s arrest. He was briefly jailed for interfering with a traffic stop involving his security guard. However, the arrest clearly isn’t hurting his career.
Despite already releasing an album in 2023 and a massive 32-song album in 2022, he is already working on new music.
On Sept. 17, he took to his Twitter account to hint at his plans. “Locked myself in studio all week then went camping for a few days,” he wrote on the social media platform. He tagged Bon Iver and Noah Kahan in separate posts, implying that he’s collaborating with them on his new music.

His followers were very excited by the news, with one follower praising him, “You’re the only one who’ll release an album and then more music a few months later.”
Zach Bryan Welcomes New Family Member
Zach Bryan is very much attached at the hip with his dog, a chocolate Lab named Jack Daniels. In fact, the dog was with him during his arrest earlier this month.
In addition to new music, the singer shared with his followers on Sept. 18 that a new four-legged family member was on the way. Jack’s “getting a sister today,” he wrote on Twitter.
Fans filled the comments with questions, asking if the dog would be another lab or perhaps a Weimaraner.
A few hours later, the singer returned to social media to share a sweet picture of the new pup. He simply wrote, “I ain’t okay man” without sharing any details about the puppy.

However, his girlfriend, podcaster Brianna Chickenfry, shared a short video on her TikTok cuddling Jack and the new dog.
Whiskey Riff reveals that comments on Chickenfry’s post claim the puppy’s name is Boston. Zach Bryan has yet to confirm, but we’re sure the new puppy is a very good girl, no matter what her name is!
