Among Gwen Stefani, Niall Horan, and Blake Shelton, the trio sold over 100 million albums spanning country, pop, and R&B. Although all accomplished artists, the trio have more in common than leaving their mark on the music industry. They are also all judges on The Voice.
While Shelton was there from the beginning, over the years, he welcomed his future wife to the ranks and even gave advice to Horan when he started in Season 23. But with Shelton departing the show, leaving Horan and Stefani alone, it seems the pair continue to joke as the One Direction singer does an impressive impression of the country singer.
Appearing on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Gwen Stefani and Niall Horan discussed a plethora of topics, including The Voice, raising goats, and Blake Shelton. Horan praised Shelton for being himself both on and off the camera. “He’s just the nicest guy in the world, loves what he loves and just has a great time doing everything. He’s just the best.” Stefani, who married the singer in July 2021, joked that she was going to stick with him.

The Voice Reunion
Tuesday’s episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show felt more like a reunion than a talk show, as Hudson is also a former judge on The Voice. Not only did the soul singer coach season 13 of The Voice, but she also landed a spot in the UK version as well. Knowing the persona around Shelton, Hudson questioned Niall Horan about his ability to make impressions of the country singer. Laughing, it took mere seconds for Niall to channel his inner Shelton and produce a rather convincing impression.
After some tips for Hudson, Niall Horan tried the impression again, with a louder southern accent, declaring, “I love Jennifer. You can be on my team!”

Before shocking Hudson and the crowd with his impression, Niall Horan detailed how Shelton took him out for a drink before blind auditions. “We went for a drink the day before. I sat down with him for five minutes and was like, ‘This is my guy. I’m sticking with him.'”
Putting a picture of all three of them up, Hudson noted that Niall Horan could be the son of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton. Stefani added, “You could be our son.”
Niall Horan Wins Over Fans And Stefani
Fans of The Voice and The Jennifer Hudson Show weighed in on the impression, writing, “What do you mean? isn’t this Blake in the video?” Another fan added, “Niall’s impressions are the best!”
As for what the “Just a Girl” singer thought of Niall Horan’s take on Blake’s twang, Stefani had nothing but love for her husband, her fellow judge, and the show that brought all of them together.
