For Zach Bryan, 2023 has been a year of both good and bad. In August, he released his fourth album which eventually hit number one on Billboard 200. Not even a month later, he found himself on the wrong side of the law when he was arrested. While dealing with the legal repercussions of his decisions, it seems the country singer is in good spirits. With the Halloween season here, many celebrities pulled out all the stops to create that perfect blend between fashion and spooky. But for Bryan, he decided his costume should mirror his run-in with the law.
In September, Zach Bryan traveled to the state of Oklahoma where he lives. While enjoying the drive, his security guard was pulled over for speeding by an Oklahoma Highway Patrol officer. According to documents, the singer believed the traffic stop was taking a little too long and decided to insert himself into the conversation. Although the officer demanded Bryan get back in his vehicle, the singer continued pushing the issue, even saying, “I’ll go to jail. Let’s do it.” And that is exactly what happened. Booked on obstruction an investigation, the singer found himself in the Craig County jail on a $1000 bond.
Not His First Time
With news circulating of his arrest, Zach Bryan eventually addressed his legal woes, admitting, “I want to start by saying — I have to deal with the legalities of it. I did go to jail. They didn’t play favorites, and I was an idiot today. My decisions did not reflect who I was as a person, and I just want to make that clear. I should have been smarter about it.”
Surprisingly, Zach Bryann also detailed how he was pulled over just a few days before his arrest for…Speeding. While the singer definitely needs to slow down, he said, “He gave me a warning because, I mean, I wasn’t going too fast or anything, and then he let me go because I just started respecting him and being cordial.”
Zach Bryan Goes Back To Jail
Seeming to understand that people make mistakes, Zach Bryan decided to joke about the whole ordeal on Halloween when he shared a post of him dressed in an orange jumpsuit. Playing along with the joke, his girlfriend Brianna Chickenfry dressed as a cop. Even the New York City police found the moment hilarious as some of their finest posed with the country singer.

With the picture saying it all, Zach Bryan captioned the post with a simple, “Happy Halloween”.
Fans filled the comment section as the post gained over one million likes. Comments included, “Zach you’re supposed to dress up as someone else for Halloween.” “Leaning into the joke is an absolutely legendary move.”
