Maren Morris Files For Divorce After Five Years
In 2018, Maren Morris married songwriter Ryan Hurd. They first met in 2013 while writing a song together for Tim McGraw. She later helped him launch his career as a singer.
In 2020, Morris and Hurd welcomed their first (and only) child, a son they named Hayes.
In October 2023, news broke that Maren Morris had filed for divorce after just five years of marriage. The court filing came seemingly out of the blue, though there have since been reports of trouble in their marriage.
Morris also made headlines recently by claiming she was leaving country music, though she’s since clarified her stance.
Kyle Richards & Husband Separate Amid Affair Rumors
Another marriage crisis that’s been dominating headlines is Real Housewives star Kyle Richards’ separation from Mauricio Umansky after 27 years of marriage. The Bravolebrities confirmed the news in July 2023 after initially denying speculation.
The situation with Richards and Umansky is confusing because they’ve both mentioned the word ‘divorce’ only to backtrack and insist it’s only a separation.
What led to the marriage trouble is currently playing out on Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The season had already finished filming when news broke of the separation. Bravo producers had cameras go back up to capture the cast’s reaction to the separation.
Mauricio Umansky recently competed on Dancing With The Stars, and rumors swirled that something was going on between him and pro dancer Emma Slater. However, he was recently linked to a mystery blonde.
Over the years, there have been rumors online about Umansky having affairs throughout his marriage to Kyle Richards, which they’ve both denied. However, since the separation news, Richards has been the center of affair rumors.
She’s clearly close friends with country singer Morgan Wade, and some fans speculated that the two were having an affair. Wade and Richards strongly denied the rumors, but the gossip persists.

Maren Morris & Kyle Richards Bond Over Marriage Woes
Maren Morris and RHOBH star Sutton Stracke were guests on Watch What Happens Live earlier this week. Morris revealed that she’s bonded with Kyle Richards over their respective marriage problems.
“I’ve been texting with Kyle,” she told host Andy Cohen. The singer added, “I feel for her for sure. I can’t even imagine that long of a relationship.”
In addition to being friendly with Kyle Richards, Maren Morris knows Morgan Wade, too. “She’s great, she is,” she complimented the up-and-coming country singer.
