Luke Combs is teasing fans on Instagram with a new song he co-wrote with Eric Dylan, called “Noah’s Arkansas.”
With only his acoustic guitar in his hands, Luke Combs sings “Noah’s Arkansas,” which is about finding peace on his little area of land where he can raise his children with “the dogs and the chickens,” safe from all that goes on in the “outside” world.
Sneak Peak Into The New Song “Noah’s Arkansas”
Luke Combs went to his Instagram to share a sneak peek of this song and you don’t want to miss it. Here are the lyrics that he reveled already:
“We’ve been thinking for a while that’s what we wanted
Get out of this town and find a place to call our own
Pack the boys up and we’ll get to leavin’
By the time we’re there, I won’t just be dreamin’
Of Noah’s ArkansasThere’s a little piece of Heaven setting South of Little Rock
And when that river rises, we’ll be glad that’s what we got
They’ll say we’re crazy baby, let’s just let ’em talk
Raise up our babies with the chickens and the dogs
In what they call Noah’s Arkansas”
The play on the words and calling it “Noah’s Arkansas,” makes it have an intriguing concept and title. While it might be quite some time before Luke decides to cut anything in the studio due to the album he released earlier this year, this song is already well-loved!
Luke captioned his post “Been messin’ around with some new stuff. Wrote this one with my buddy @theflatlandboy awhile back, and it’s been on my mind lately.” So, who knows? Hopefully, we will get to hear his full version of “Noah’s Arkansas,” soon! Check out what he posted below.
