Jelly Roll Dedicated To Attending Therapy

After a very rough past, Jelly Roll has come out of the dark shining brighter than a diamond. He does understand that he will always have enemies for things he did that were not correct. More so, he knows their anger toward him is justified. However, the time he spent in trouble was a learning experience and now, he is dedicated to giving back. He is always going to visit inmates to inspire them that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Plus, he is an amazing father to his two children, his daughter who inspired him to launch the biggest toy drive in Nashville.

At the same time, Jelly knows there is still work to be done within himself to keep him on the right path. According to Taste Of Country, Jelly opened up about bettering his life on The Daily Show. He got very candid about what he is doing and where he is at on his journey. “Take the time to love myself. Learning to listen to myself. Working….I go to therapy. I take it very seriously,” Jelly shared with host, Charlamagne tha God. Yet, he is dedicated to his faith, as well: “I’m just really rooted in my faith, my belief that — more than anything, I search for purpose.”

Jelly is actually somewhat of a philosopher when he speaks: “I believe in God and therapy. I believe in the universe. Hey, listen, if you convince me that because you’re an Aquarius, we get along, I’m in. I am extremely open-minded in my old age.” Ultimately, he revealed that his mission in life is to help others and that is when he is the most fulfilled. This is clear by the way he is always giving back.

The Silent Voice

Lastly, Jelly Roll noted he is really a voice for those who have been misheard for way too long. Now, he seemingly can be the person he has always hoped to be. Along with therapy, Jelly is taking care of his physical health and has dropped a lot of weight. He is also a GRAMMY-nominated artist so 2024 is looking up for him, as well. The world is his oyster and he is clearly putting in the necessary work to ensure he keeps all of the positive vibes.

Are you shocked at Jelly’s outlook on life and that he is so dedicated to everything that he does? Or, is that just on brand for him? Let us know in the comments below.

  1. I am so proud of Jelly. I think what he is doing is a real blessing to The Lord. It is great to see him witness to prisoners. I have a nephew in prison that seems to find Jesus every time he goes to prison but it never sticks as soon as he gets out he forgets. He needs someone like Jelly to witness to him. He is in Huntsville Texas.
