Kenny Chesney has new music coming in 2024. The country superstar last released new music in 2020, and now it is time for him to spring new music on his fans. He also has big plans for the album and let his fans know what they can expect.

Kenny Chesney talks new music
Kenny Chesney’s last album arrived in 2020 with Here and Now. The album, like most of his past releases, was a huge hit. It went gold and hit the top spots on both the Billboard 200 and the U.S. Country Music charts. That album also included the number one hit “Here and Now” and the platinum single “Knowing You.”
In 2024, Kenny will release his 20th album. This will be his first new music since he released the single in November 2023 called “Take Her Home,” which was a slightly disappointing release. It never charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and only reached 16th on the U.S. Country Airplay charts.
According to Chesney, he has had a lot of time to work and he is ready to release new music. He also said that it would be something different because he had experimented and played with different kinds of music. “I got to go places, do some things we wouldn’t normally try because we have such a clear vision of what we’re trying to do,” he shared (via Whiskey Riff).
What can fans expect from new Kenny Chesney album
First up, Kenny Chesney has revealed his new album will be tailored for his fans, which is called No Shoes Nation. He did say that there will be songs that he co-wrote, and there will also likely be more songs than fans are used to for his past albums.
“I never want to just force songs on a record because I wrote them. But I love the process of writing. I’ve got four or five that I feel pretty sure are gonna be on this album.”
Kenny added that looking at the songs he is considering, there are going to be more songs than usual. More so, he doesn’t want to leave anything good behind. Kenny Chesney released his first album in 1994 with In My Wildest Dreams. His first big success came one year later with All I Need To Know, which hit 39th on the U.S. country charts and was certified gold. The next year, Kenny had his first platinum release with Me and You, and his first number-one single arrived in 1997 (“She’s Got To All.”
Over his career, Kenny Chesney has 32 number-one singles and 10 of his albums reached number-one on the albums chart.
