Trevor Noah Uses Kelly Clarkson As Joke Punchline
Comedian Jo Koy faced major backlash for his opening monologue and jokes about Taylor Swift at the Golden Globes last month. Former host of The Daily Show, Trevor Noah, didn’t take any chances with his jokes at the 2024 Grammy Awards.
Instead, he chose to spotlight celebrities in the audience, including actress Meryl Streep. However, he did bring Kelly Clarkson into it by using her as a punchline for another joke.
“If your speech is too long, there will be consequences. We’re gonna have Kelly Clarkson cover one of your songs, and make it sound better than you ever could,” he said at one point during the show (via The Hollywood Reporter.)

Taylor Swift attended the event without her boyfriend, football star Travis Kelce. Kelly Clarkson, on the other hand, had the most adorable date of the night.
She attended the event with her son Remington, 7. She also shares a daughter, River, 9, with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock. The former couple divorced in 2020 after seven years of marriage.
Kelly Clarkson uprooted her life and moved to New York City last year after finalizing the divorce. Not only did she change her life, she changed her lifestyle. The singer has lost nearly 40 pounds.

She showed off her slim new figure in a fitted strapless white gown. Her son looked dapper in a red velvet tuxedo with a colorful boutonniere pinned to his collar. He completed the look with brown boots.
