Who Is Billy Ray Cyrus Wife, Firerose?
After filing three times, Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus finally decided to end their thirty-year marriage. They had many highs and lows but it just was not working anymore and so they moved on. He had not been living in the home for some time and he had done a duet in 2021 with Australian powerhouse, Firerose. They had met about twelve years prior when Billy Ray’s daughter, Miley Cyrus was filming Hannah Montana for Disney. Nothing happened but he became a mentor to her. The chemistry was clearly there when they performed their duet and after the divorce was filed, nothing was holding them back.
Around August 2022, Firerose shared her love for Billy Ray with a sweet birthday tribute on social media. That was when the cat was out of the bag. It was not long after that she was spotted with a huge rock on her finger. Per People, Firerose shared this:
“Billy looked at me and said, ‘Do you, do you wanna marry me?’ And I was just like, ‘Of course I do. I love you.’ He said, ‘I love you. I wanna make this official. I wanna be with you forever.'”
He even had his fiancee design her ring herself. They claimed that they were not thinking about a wedding despite making a bridal-inspired video based on their ballad, “Plans” by Diane Warren.
The two did tie the knot in October and though Cyrus said his kids were on board, that has not been the case. Miley shut him out of her Grammy speech but was the maid of honor when Tish Cyrus married Dominic Purcell. Firerose has such a sweet and positive attitude plus has been sober for seven years now. This has made her hubby so proud.

Now, Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose are getting ready to perform live and for a special cause and person. On Wednesday, February 21st, they will be singing at Dolly Parton’s Pet Gala on CBS. Dolly has been a longtime friend and is even Miley Cyrus’ godmother.
