The country music world is coming together to celebrate the life and legacy of Toby Keith. Stars from all genres – from country music to rock legends and even sports – will take the stage at the 2024 CMT Awards to pay tribute to Toby Keith’s incredible career and the mark he left on country music.
Lainey Wilson, Brooks & Dunn, and former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar will play a medley of Toby Keith’s greatest hits. Willie Nelson’s son, Lukas Nelson, and baseball great Roger Clemens will be on hand to remember how the “Red Cup Solo” singer connected with audiences through his authentic and relatable music.

How To Watch The 2024 CMT Awards
The 2024 CMT Awards will be live from the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, on Sunday, April 7. The show will air live on CBS starting at 8 PM Eastern. It will also stream on Paramount+. CMT will air a red carpet special at 7 PM Eastern on April 7 before the awards show moves over to CBS.
Kelsea Ballerini will host the awards show, which will also mark the return of Jason Aldean after his controversial video was banned from the music channel.
The 2024 CMT Awards will air again on CMT on Thursday, April 10. PEOPLE magazine reports a separate one-hour special will air directly after the encore CMT Awards. CMT Music Awards Celebrate Toby Keith airs at 10 PM Eastern.
