Over the last few years, Jelly Roll and his wife, Bunnie Xo, have given their fans an all-access pass to their family, how they parent, and the love they share. Using YouTube and TikTok, Bunnie accumulated a following that rivals that of her husband. And who could forget about her podcast, Dumb Blonde Podcast? With the world at her fingertips, tragedy struck after she learned her father, Bill, had cancer. Not shying away from the problem, the podcaster shared the ongoing battle with her fans, both good and bad. And with Bill’s battle with cancer ongoing, Bunnie recently shared an update on his health and new home.
Although Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo gained massive popularity recently, the pair first met back in 2015. Singing on stage, Bunnie recalled watching him at the Sin City’s Country Saloon in Las Vegas. Stunned by his voice, she noted, “We hit it off.” At the time, her future husband was with another lady. Thankfully for Bunnie, that relationship fizzled. She noted needed some help from a friend to make the introduction happen. “We had mutual friends. She said, ‘Yo. Just plug me in with Jelly.’ And I hit her on some other s–t. I was like, ‘Yo. I’m going to be coming out to shoot some content and video stuff. She was like, ‘Yeah! C’mon!’ I was like, ‘Cool, well I’m living in my van, so I’ll leave now.’” The rest was history as they say.
Bunnie Xo Learns Devastating News
Never too far away from her husband, Bunnie Xo stood right alongside Jelly Roll during his 2023 Backroad Baptism Tour. At the same time, she learned about Bill’s Stage 4 cancer. Immediately taking a step back, Bunnie explained to her fans, “As you guys know, I was doing my last run on the tour in Texas because it’s so close to my dad, so I figured, ‘Why not do those dates?'” She added, “While I was there — luckily — he ended up getting really sick. He had a blood clot and pneumonia all at the same time, so they admitted him into the hospital. When he was there, it was just even more confirmation of why we’re moving him to Nashville, because the doctors were so cold to him and treated him terribly.”

Welcome Home
Being Bunnie Xo, she wasn’t going to sit by and watch her father fight alone. Doing more than standing by him, the star decided to move Bill to their Nashville home. Leaving the decision up to him, it seems that Bill took the helping hand. Bunnie shared a new video showing Bill walking. She captioned it with, “We started a new treatment yesterday & Pops is up walking!! He hasn’t walked like this in months. This is huge.”
Bunnie does a great job of updating fans about what is going on with her life and should continue to update them on her dad.
