The Chicks, formerly known as The Dixie Chicks, have postponed more shows at the last minute. This is an interesting occurrence as it makes fans wonder if there is trouble in paradise. Are the ladies okay? What exactly is going on to cause this delay in the highly-anticipated tour? Read on for all of the details regarding the shows and when they will be back on the road.

The Chicks Postpone More Last-Minute Shows, Troubles?

This is supposed to be a fun summer for The Chicks aka Natalie Maines, Martie Maguire, and Emily Strayer. They were going out on tour with some of the best artists including Elle King and Ben Harper. However, they recently announced that they had to postpone their Nashville show right before they were set to perform. This was not a good look for them at all and one fan posted a selfie seemingly on their way to see the band when they learned of the cancellation.

One person simply wrote: “Refund please!” while another wanted to transfer their ticket as they could not make the rescheduled date. This has caused a mess for fans who had been waiting to see them. Now, it has gotten worse for the band according to Whiskey Riff. The Chicks have now canceled more dates on their tour coming on the heels of this last-minute Nashville debacle. What is the exact reason for this and when will they be back on the road?

Apparently, they canceled for the same reason as the Nashville show. There is an illness that they did not elaborate on. The Knoxville and Greensboro shows have been rescheduled. Fans are encouraged to hold on to their tickets for the new dates. The Chicks are stating that these are the only changes as of now. Therefore, fans should feel confident that the rest of the show should go on as planned. However, they probably do not feel very reassured by what just happened.

Better Now Than Later

It appears that some of The Chicks fans are at least grateful these dates were postponed earlier rather than super last minute like Nashville. One person tweeted well wishes to the band: “Feel better!!! Can’t wait to see you in September in Nashville!!! These summer bugs and surges are no joke!!!!” Yet, others shared how they were able to get their tickets refunded if anyone else needed assistance. So, it seems like this is a mixed bag of emotions right now.

Do you think that there is more behind why The Chicks canceled their shows abruptly? More so, did any of you have tickets for these concerts? Let us know in the comments below.
