Jordan Davis Shares Healing Message From Fan

Country Music, Jordan Davis, News

Entering the country music industry in 2017, singer Jordan Davis quickly made a name for himself. Releasing two albums, Home State and Bluebird Days, the country-pop singer witnessed four of his songs hit number one on Country Airplay. That is just the start for Davis as his career led him to perform at the 109th Grey Cup in 2022. Not letting the fame get to him, Davis recently shared a heartfelt message about his song Church In A Chevy and how it helped heal a fan.

After wrapping up one of his shows in Missouri, Jordan Davis received a poster from a fan. He had no idea what was written on the back. “Got handed this last night at our show in Missouri and on the back of this poster was a letter of heartbreak and healing…Getting to hear stories like this are what makes songs bigger than just rhymes around a catchy chorus…The day we wrote ”Church In A Chevy” we knew that at some point God was gonna use this song for someone…Reading this story last night reminded me of why we write songs, and if anyone knows who handed me this please tell them to message me…God is good, happy Sunday everybody”

Jordan Davis Loves Being A Dad

Jordan Davis takes pride in knowing that his music touches and even heals people. But for him, there is nothing more important than family. In August, the singer discussed what it was like having three kids. All of them are under four. “Man. It’s a special thing. My daughter’s already an amazing big sister. My son doesn’t quite know what’s going on yet, but we kind of have to ease up on the aggression with him. I think he thinks he’s like a toy doll, so he punches him a lot. But other than that, everything’s going great.”

Marrying Kristen O’Connor in 2017, the pair welcomed their third child, Elijah, back in June. The singer praised his faith and his wife. “God is good! My son Elijah Patrick is in the world…His momma did incredible in getting him here and we hope to get him home to his brother and sister soon.”

Taking Over Country Radio

June happened to be a great month for Jordan Davis as his song, Next Thing You Know, hit the number-one spot on Country Radio. “This song has been a special one since the day I wrote it with…To Greylan, Josh, and Chase, thank y’all for writing this one the way it needed to be written, which was not the traditional way that leads to songs being recorded.” He also thanked Country Radio. “Thank you Country radio for continuing to support my music and giving me my 6th #1 song…Thank you MCA Nashville for being my biggest champions from the start.”
