Jelly Roll Shares Huge Update With Fans

Jelly Roll shares some exciting news with fans in an Instagram post he made today, October 18th, 2023. After wrapping up headlining for his first arena and amphitheater tour, the artist is now hinting at something just as exciting.

Short Introduction Of Jelly Roll

Jason Bradley DeFord, known by his stage name Jelly Roll, is a 38-year-old artist from Nashville. He specializes in the rap and country genres as both a singer and songwriter. Jason began his career in 2005 with his first song “Outro (The Halfway House).” Now, DeFord is most known for his songs “Need A Favor,” and “Son Of A Sinner,” amongst other chart-topping hits. The artist has signed with a handful of record labels but is currently with BBR Music Group.

As far as family goes, Jelly Roll is a proud father and husband. Jason got married in 2016 to Bunnie XO. The two are raising a son and a daughter Bailee Ann, who is 15 years old, and 7-year-old Noah Buddy. Though Bailee was born under a different mother, Bunnie and Jason now share full custody of her.

Jelly Roll’s “Backroad Baptism Tour”

Back in February of this year (2023), Jelly Roll announced his Backroad Baptism Tour that spanned over the summer across many states within North America. Many familiar faces joined the singer at select locations. Those names include Ashley McBryde, Chase Rice, Elle King, Struggle Jennings, Three 6 Mafia, Yelawolf, and Josh Adam Meyers.

The tour was a success and included some meaningful adventures. In today’s Instagram post, Jelly Roll shares some more information about his tour behind the scenes. Here is what he shares in the caption:

“Just finished headlining my first amphitheater and arena tour. 80 days averaging 5 shows a week. 3 national TV appearances in the middle of it. We also visited over 10 jails or Juveniles and over 4 rehabs and a few homeless shelters spreading the love..Live Nation and us also agreed to give ONE DOLLAR a ticket to charity raised another 590k for local at risk youth.”

Jelly Roll then continues on by sharing his gratitude to fans and the opportunities they have opened for him. Jason further says he will be getting rid of his phone for the rest of the year to spend time with his family but will be posting from his iPad or wife’s phone. However, before closing out the post, he drops a big update.

Jelly Roll’s generosity continues to ROLL on! Though the artist is taking a much-needed break from technology, that will not be stopping him from remaining proactive within his local community.
