Dolly Parton Shocks Fans In Rare Throwback
Despite the performer’s notoriously revealing outfits, some people were still outraged by her Thanksgiving Day performance. She headlined the halftime show at the Dallas Cowboys Vs. Washington Commanders game.
In true Dolly fashion, she took the stage in a barely-there Dallas Cowboys cheerleading uniform. But fans might be surprised to know that Dolly Parton didn’t always show so much skin. Nor did she always wear blonde wigs teased sky-high.
An old photo of the “I Will Always Love You” singer from early in her life resurfaced on a Reddit thread. “Dolly Parton 1960 (don’t know if this been posted before) She was immaculate,” the Redditor explained about the photo.
Born in 1946, Dolly would have been around 14 at the time the photo was taken. The fresh-faced beauty has her natural hair instead of a wig. It’s coiffed on top of her head like the style at the time.
