Since February 2022, fans have been desperate to know what the future holds for the duo, Florida Georgia Line. Will these artists be seen together again?

Who Is Florida Georgia Line?

Florida Georgia Line is a country music duo consisting of Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard. The two started their journey together in 2010 but started to make history starting in 2012.

According to their website, FLG was “the first Country act to achieve RIAA’s DIAMOND certification (10 million copies sold.)” Additionally, they dominated the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for 50 straight weeks with 8X PLATINUM, #1 “Meant to Be” with Bebe Rexha.

However, their website has not posted anything new since May 26th, 2021.

The Duo Breaks Up

In February 2022, Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard made the decision to part ways. Brian and Tyler were having huge success with their career together, and initially, all they planned to do was take a break. There had been rumors about the two splitting for years, as there have been a few public disagreements.

Since taking a break, the two have been making their own independent music. Brian Kelley is excited to branch out of the “Beach Cowboy” limits he was in. The artist has shared more of his talent and personality away from Tyler, and fans are loving it. He seems to be doing just fine on his own.

Tyler Hubbard, on the other hand, branched off to write music about his family. He also works alongside other artists and producers, unlike Brian, who wants to stay solo. It is interesting to watch how their style continues to change as they tackle their careers on their own.

Brian Kelley Speaks Up

Recently there was a fan poll on Instagram asking if the community thinks that Florida Georgia Line would return. Many of the viewers voted that they would return, but Brian Kelley was quick to burst that bubble.

“Respectfully, I can tell you that’s not happening.”

A lot of people seem to be unaffected by this news, comments on Country Central’s Instagram post are true to that. Some viewers are being bluntly brutal. Here are a few examples:

@willmparks: “Best news I’ve heard all day.”

@j_digraz: “We don’t want it anyway😂”

@noahhull: “Great news.”

@champion.living: “Thank god.”

Of course, there are other commentators who are disappointed, but in the end, this seems to be the best for both artists. Both sides of the argument can agree on that.

What do you think? Are you upset that Florida Georgia Line is no more?
