Per ABC 15, Isabella McCune is a Swiftie who ended up in an accident in 2018. She was hospitalized for nine months. McCune suffered burns on up to 65 percent of her body. She planned on going to Swift’s Reputation Tour. Swift visited the young fan in the hospital.

The “Anti-Hero” singer gave her a handwritten note with a promise. Swift invited her out to a future show. She has followed through on that promise. Five years later, Swift headed back on the road for her Eras Tour, which kicked off in Glendale, Arizona, the same state where McCune is from.

On Friday, March 17, her family got a surprise in their mail. They received a letter with tickets to the highly-coveted tour that comes with a hefty price tag. The letter itself was from none other than Taylor Swift. The 13-year-old had a good time on the tour.

She sang along to the singer’s hit songs. McCune had the time of her life. Swift is now ramping up for her next stops in Las Vegas and Arlington, Texas. The Eras Tour runs through August and international fans are still waiting for the additional dates.

Donates to local charities

Taylor Swift is making another promise throughout her tour. She will donate to local charities along her tour route. So far, Swift donated to food banks in Arizona and Nevada. The 33-year-old wanted to make this tour a special one by paying it forward.

During the opening night, Swift donated an undisclosed amount to the Arizona Food Network. Vice President of External Relations, Terri Shoemaker shared their reaction with AZ Central.

“It’s not every day that you get a call from someone who works in PR for Taylor Swift, so we were dubious at first, but happily, it turned out to be absolutely real.”

On March 22, a Las Vegas-based food bank that’s associated with Feeding America shared similar news via Instagram. They hinted they received a donation from Taylor Swift with the cryptic message: “We don’t know about you, but we’re feeling on this day, March 22!” The food bank wrote the lyrics to Swift’s hit song “22.”
