While known for her amazing voice and love for country music, Reba McEntire doesn’t shy away from the pride she has for Oklahoma. Not only raised in the state, but the country singer even went to college at Southeastern Oklahoma Stata University. With the state holding her in high regard, it should come as no surprise that Reba is a massive Kansas City Chiefs fan. And with the Chiefs’ tight end, Travis Kelce, courting superstar Taylor Swift, it seems that Reba admitted to being devasted, suggesting her “boyfriend”, Kelce, “cheated on her.”
Releasing her new book, Not That Fancy: Simple Lessons on Living, Loving, Eating, and Dusting Off Your Boots, on October 10, Reba McEntire spent the last few months discussing the inspiration behind her words and how her music and faith help her connect to God.
Showing just how much she loves her current boyfriend, Rex Linn, the singer wrote in her book about how God brought him back into her life and how it was “one of the best surprises.”
Although Rex holds a special place in Reba McEntire’s heart, that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for one more. Enter Travis Kelce.

Cheating On Reba McEntire
Before Swifties entered the NFL, Reba McEntire admitted to Today that she loved watching Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs win the Super Bowl. But when the camera panned to Kelce, she apparently told Linn, “He’s so cute. Oh, he’s so cute.”
The singer added that Linn got the last laugh when dating rumors started to circulate. “When he and Taylor started dating, Rex said, ‘Your boyfriend’s got another girlfriend.’ I said, ‘Rub it in.’”
While media outlets scramble for the latest scoop of Kelce and Swift, Reba McEntire explained how she “can’t have a crush anymore” since the two are dating. Showing just how much love hurts, she joked that her “boyfriend [Kelce] cheated on her.”
Long Distance Boyfriend
Although Reba McEntire finds herself heartbroken, she continues to love Linn and the nickname “The Tots.” The pair first met back in 1991 when they landed roles in The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw.
Enjoying their time together, their careers took them different paths until they met again. This time, on the set of Young Sheldon in 2020. Recalling the text Linn sent her about coming to Los Angeles, Reba shared, “I wanted to get in to see Rex so bad I could hardly stand it.”

Starting to date in 2020, Reba McEntire evidently saved Linn’s number in her phone as “Rex Linn, long-distance boyfriend.” And it doesn’t seem to be changing anytime soon, as she joked, “I haven’t changed it since 2020.”
