Oliver Anthony has not let his past negative experiences with concert planning get in the way, the country star is ready to get back in action with some exciting plans for 2024.
Christopher Anthony Lunsford began his music career only a few months ago after one of his YouTube uploads went viral. Though this was not the first work the 31-year-old songwriter has shared, it was the first to go viral. Like many other celebrities, Oliver owes social media for the fanbase he has now. If it were not for the singer’s song “Rich Men North Of Richmond,” Oliver Anthony may never have received what he has now.
Oliver Anthony’s Previous Performances
Even though Christopher has just recently begun chasing a career in music, he has already done eight established concerts and many other small public performances. Oliver has had astounding success with concerts, though he has also had much difficulty.

First, there were struggles with ticket pricing, as Oliver was upset that tickets were as expensive as they were. Regardless of the drama, the rescheduled concert sold out on tickets. However, this time the tickets were $25 this time, and a fan meet and greet was provided for free. Before the decrease in price, the tickets cost between $90 and $199. The original concert was scheduled for September 17th but was later played on September 29th, 2023. The rescheduling didn’t stop there. Many following concerts ended up being pushed back for various other reasons, which upset a lot of fans, especially the ones who had planned that day out already and had a long drive.
Oliver Anthony Releases 2024 Concert Dates
As of November 7th, 2023, there are only two concerts laid out for 2024 on Oliver Anthony’s website. However, there has been information about an upcoming 2024 tour, which is yet to be dated. As for the two scheduled concerts so far, here is what you need to know:
March 15th-17th, 2024: Ipswich, Queensland, Australia (CMC Rocks QLD Festival)
The CMC Rocks QLD Festival will take place at Willowbank Raceway and includes a few more familiar faces including Lainey Wilson, Chris Young, and Tyler Hubbard. Tickets are already sold out but parking and bus tickets are still available. This is the first concert Oliver Anthony has done out of country, with more planned.
July 18th-20th, 2024: Cullman, Alabama, USA (Rock The South)
Rock The South is a music festival that will take place at York Farms campground. Tickets are still available starting at $150, which seems more expensive than the events Oliver Anthony typically works.
Will Oliver Anthony have a tour this year as well? Yes! However, specific dates have not been released at this time. According to Billboard, Oliver made a statement on social media stating, “I am pleased to announce that I hired two gentlemen in Nashville this week to help me with creating the 2024 tour. We’re going to be all over the U.S. and even doing some international travel.” With that exciting news in mind, there will likely be a bigger update soon.
