Oliver Anthony’s song “Rich Men North of Richmond” talks about working hard for not enough pay. He talks about how he wants to just wake up and it to not be true. He goes on to talk about living in the “new world.” Check it out below.

Billboard explained a bit about who Oliver Anthony actually is and why fans love him so much. He is a former factory worker. This song was the first one that he recorded with a real camera and not just with his cell phone. It was literally just posted on August 7 and has already gone viral. His video already has 3.7 million views. It reminds fans of the way Jason Aldean’s video for “Try That In A Small Town” went viral so fast.

He actually says that he is “dead center” politically. That being said John Rich has offered to produce Oliver’s album.
